I spent the end of last month knowing that I wouldn’t have a steady income by 2025. And I wasn’t afraid. What a refreshing change from years past when any glitch in my work sent me into a complete panic. Just thinking back brings the pit back to my stomach.
To be honest, I can’t remember the last update I wrote about what my full-time income was supposed to be. From early November through the week of December 16, my client changed his mind regarding how much he wanted to use me and how much he wanted to use me almost every day. It was terrible.
So I finally thanked him, but no thanks, and December 20th was my last day.
EPOH relaunch
However, I’ve spent a lot of time in the past few weeks preparing to relaunch my consulting company. brand new. New service offers. And a New website.
I have several proposals for new and previous clients and expect to close enough deals to cover monthly core costs by the end of the month. I was able to close two new website deals in the last week of 2024.
Still applied
Don’t worry, I also prepared my resume. I applied for at least a dozen corporate jobs…all in the Austin, Texas area. This probably tells you the way I recline at home too.
There are no viable options for employment where I live. So, if the work is done in Texas, this will result in a resolution agreement with the home. Yes, it’s still up in the air, but I’m preparing for it if the time comes when I make the decision to sell and/or need to move quickly to get a new job.
