What are your goals for 2025?
By hope
I don’t make resolutions. Not because I don’t have them, but because I never hold on to them. But I have goals. I wrote about my financial goals for Q1 2025 last month.
But more importantly, I have a number of personal aspirations for this year outside of financial goals.
health
My number one health goal is to increase my flexibility and change my movement from daily walking. I have no plans to join a gym, I know it’s not something I won’t be consistent with and I definitely don’t want another bill.
With an empty room in my house and some basic equipment that’s been sitting around for years, I plan to start an at-home exercise routine. A jump rope, a set of free weights, a yoga mat, and a slew of saved YouTube videos, I’m ready to take the next step in my health journey.
Yes, I got health insurance. So there’s that too.

Living alone. Hyperfocus. With very few responsibilities outside of myself and my personal goals, I was able to control my schedule. I straighten everything out. Time to exercise for my health. Time to study for a new degree I am seeking. (More on that later.)
There is something very comforting for me about living according to a plan. But if the years have taught me anything, it’s that I plan and God laughs. So while I plan my days to the minute. I also embrace change when it comes my way.
I’m really open to what God has in store for me. Stay here. He goes. Rebuilding my business. Working in the corporate world. There are so many options…and I enjoy anything!
How will you start 2025? Resolutions and goals? Leave things behind? Your ambitions: Where do you want to be at the end of the year?
