And we’re back… – Blogging out of debt Blogging out of debt
By hope
In my last post, I wrote about losing my full-time job, then getting it back part-time. And now…I’m back full time. (And we wonder why I have such a tight, money-strapped, roller-coaster ride.) Even my family, who were present at the whole debacle, were angry about how it happened. (I take my calls on speakerphone because of my hearing so they had a front row seat to all of that. It’s really not just me.)
Well, last week, in one of our regular check-in calls, he apologized again for how he handled the situation. She asked if I would consider staying full time. We left the call with him saying he was reviewing the budget and that he really wanted me to stay because even in the “perfect” storm of business challenges, he was the happiest ever.
And just this morning… I received a strong offer to return full time, immediately. The difference will be paid for this month in two separate payments. We will continue into the new year with only some basic adjustments to the payroll and methodology. A story for another time.
But oh, the weight is off! Going into 2025 with a full-time income. I am so grateful!
Back to Georgia
Today, I made my way back to Georgia. Just in time to really enjoy the Christmas holidays.
It was a very productive visit home. He helped my father handle his finances and papers. I spent time with both of my brothers. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my entire family including my five children. Now I go home and think again…what’s next for me!?!
