Retirement

Where does the determination come from?

The decision has many names. Some call it the heart and fighters call it hunger. Grit is another name for it.

Aside from quite a few activities, whether it’s other talents like over-the-top brains, beauty, or physical stature that wins the day, grit is in my opinion the most important variable that determines whether someone will succeed.

But the selection appears to be “undefined”.

We test IQ on the SAT to determine college placements. We test IQ in GPA to determine employment (don’t deny it ). But where and when do we experience definition?

Furthermore, is the determination genetic or cultural? Can it be trained?

In particular, can I say or write something that will make people more determined? The answer to that is probably yes: it’s called inspiration.

However, I believe that determination is different from inspiration. Design can be considered as “self-inspiration”. Do you do things because you are inspired by others or do you inspire yourself? (The third: Can you inspire others?) It’s the same leadership-following dynamic. We say that some are natural leaders, and many are natural followers. However, leadership and perhaps followership can also be taught

It can be taught (like in the army?).

Interestingly, this word is not in the dictionary. Can inspired design be self-taught?In other news, see
