18 is no longer an “adult” age – life happens.
When you are 18 years oldD When your birthday comes around, it’s not like someone waves a magic wand and you become an adult. Sure, legally, you can do things you couldn’t do before: vote, sign contracts — and indeed a whole bunch of things without parental consent. But when we asked 2,000 people across generations when they felt like they were truly adults, we got the right answer: 27.
This comes from a new poll by Talker Research called “Adulthood Across Generations” for Life Happens. The company surveyed 2,000 Americans evenly split between adults from Generation Z, Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers.
