Personal Loan #2 – Buff Be Gone
I’m sure you were all wondering with my last update on paying off emotional credit cards, what happened to paying off personal loans first?
I paid off my first personal loan last month. I was planning to pay off my second personal loan this month… and I did.
So what happened?Yes, that grammatical oddity was intentional, don’t come at me.)
As soon as I got my salary this month, I started making payments, transferring money anywhere, etc. And suddenly, I reached my daily limit. Thanks, Zill!
Well, I’ll wait until tomorrow to continue the conversation.
The next day I reached my weekly limit. Again, thank you Zelle.
So, I moved everything I could with Zelle (no fees to anyone) to where it needed to go… and now I have to wait 7 days for my limit to reset.
I texted my brother to tell him what happened. The balance was now $250. I told him that as soon as Zelle allowed me to, I would send him the rest of the money. He was okay with that.
And that’s the long story of why it took me an extra week to pay off my second personal loan.
But now… there will be no more personal loans. (Except for my parents, but I know this is a personal loan too, I just never called it that.)
Now we are 100% focused on eliminating all credit card debt! Let’s go!
